I just bought a Lenovo Ideapad s10. I'm planning on installing a new hard drive. How do I transfer data from the old hard drive (the one already inside) to the new one?
My question is: What program will enable me to do it?
I know for Mac, there's a program called SuperDuper that enables me to copy everything into the new HD, and I can even boot from the new HD to see that everything works properly.
Is there anything else like this for the PC?
    Thank you in advance.

If you want an exact copy of your drive you can use cloning software like Partition Magic or Norton Ghost. You will need an external HDD caddy to connect your new drive to your laptop.

What about just transferring everything on an HDD that`s not formatted?

I`m looking into porting everything I have on my original hdd to my RAID hdd`s that I`m using right now.
    How would that work?
