Hey so I finally got my new SSD. However, now i need to install it. I was wondering about opinions over whether I should do Clonezilla or a clean install of Windows. Which is easier/simpler? If i do clonezilla do I need a flash drive with the same amount of memory as my harddrive (its about 85GB right now). if you could give me suggestions I'd appreciate it.
    Thanks,
    Sam

Easier? Clonezilla (or other cloning software).

Better for the long run when maximum sustained performance is required? Clean install on a 240/250/256GB SSD (or larger if the SSD is from the latest 'gen' products).

    Good luck.

I was in the same shoe as yours a year ago. Everyone recommended to fresh install and that's what I'm gonna say to you.
It is just so much nicer to get all the junk wiped out.
And remember those program that you never use but don't want to uninstall until you ran out space?
    That's gone too :D

If the smaller SSD is a on recent clean install, I'd clone, otherwise, I'd do a new clean install. Also, why use a flash drive? Pop the new SSD in an enclosure and do a direct clone or even better, put both SSDs in a desktop on SATA III and watch the magic of cloning form SSD to SSD on SATA III. Took me a whopping 15 mins to clone ~40 GB of data between two SSDs that way.
