    Transformer get's very hot sometimes

    Some times it's so hot that i almost burn myself, i'm sure it shouldn't be getting this hot, i touch it and i'm like ow f**k! it's that hot, it's not always this hot but it's is every so often..

    Stop touching Optimus Prime there. He obviously doesn't like it.

    On a side note: you might want to get that replaced.

    All transformers get HOT!!!!!!!! after a period of time. Although it's hot enough to burn yourself??? then something is really wrong.

    Yeah, its natural for them to get hot. Its not unusual. Although, i have heard of cases where it melted whatever was under it or caught something on fire. I know my old VAIO i had 2-3 years ago... The transformer got so hot that i could smell burning plastic at times and it burnt me. Got a replacement, same senario though. I have to say, my HP one i have currently doesnt get too too hot at all. And its the smallest powerpack ive seen.

    Hmm well i'll see about getting a replacement but i doubt they will let me because my power lead mysteriously gained a cut in the plastic coating at the moment it's covered with plastic but i can see the metal under it but it's only small...
