Hi guys, i need help seriously in something and i thought that this was the better place to ask:
In 2 weeks i will travel to Germany (i will stay there aprox. 7 weeks), but i know that the voltage is different there (220v) than here in Mexico (110v, as far i know that the voltage is the same in all continent).
I know too that i need an adapter because the plug there is different, here comes my question: Apart from that adapter (i dont know which they use in Berlin), i need an additional voltage converter for the laptop? (Alienware M15X), i know that if in the input says 110-240v there i should not see any problem, but i preferably like to ask than ending with a fried laptop (is going to be my communication method with my family).
And another thing, like i will bring my Sony Ericsson Satio and probably a charger for my ipod do i need a converter?
Thanks

Neither your laptop nor your ipod need a voltage converter.

I use both (laptop and IPOD Touch) on 220 volt systems in South Korea with only the plug adapter. Just ensure the power brick is rated for 110-240v and you should be fine.

This is how the european wall plugs look like:
You may need an adapter for that if your plug is not compatible. You can buy one in every airport.

Completely off topic but have a great time in Germany. I love that country.
