I am looking to buy this HD for my old computer (it's the same HD it has, the old one is just broken).

I searched Newegg, but they are out of stock, or don't carry it anymore, and I have always been cautious to purchase stuff online.

Can anyone recommend an Online store, that they have used, and have good experience using, that has this Internal HD in stock?

Google came up with a few sites selling, but I have never heard of any of them before.

You can buy it on eBay. Not too expensive for a 120GB, 4200RPM PATA drive. Just make sure you get one with some sort of warranty; therefore you can go to Paypal if the seller pulls a fast one on you (which, in my experience, really doesn't happen very often).

That being said, I'd go buy a newer, better drive over that 4K120. You can get the Samsung HM160HC which is significantly bigger and faster and only marginally more expensive. It's also available at Newegg.

I don't mind performance, this computer will only be used for Word, and Internet.

Is the Samsung HM160HC the same as the 4K120? The 4K120 has the many pins on the side of it, and I couldn't see if the Samsung has them as well.

It's not the same drive (duh), but it uses the same interface. You can use any PATA drive on a machine with a PATA interface.

Lol, yes I know it's not the "same" drive. :D

I don't know much about HD's, so I don't know what HD's work in what. If one breaks, I just try and find the same one, so I know it will work.

I wouldnt buy the same drive. Finding a 4K120 is going to be hard. Plus that drive is very slow, around 25mb/sec.
Go for a nice new drive for the upgrade. The Samsung HM160HC is a 160gb 5400rpm drive which can easily do 53mb/sec.

Here is my review of the drive:

It can be had for about $55

    What laptop do you have?
I only ask because some of the older systems have a 48 Bit LBA limit, which means that a drive over 137GB cannot be recognized.
One can get around this by partitioning, but its additional hassel.

The Laptop is an old Gateway MX6441

I should also add the guy from Gateway said he doesn't recommend going over double the old HD space (for reasons I forgot).

The old HD is 80 GB's.

Judging by the fact that your system is a turion based system, I would think that it can support a 160Gb drive.
I can support the 160gb drive in my ~7yr old Dell 8500.

Yes it is a Turion system.

I will probably order it from Newegg, how good is their return policy if the drive doesn't work, or is broken/corrupted?

newegg, zipzoomfly and lagoom all have a 30 day money back guarantee.
I have ordered from all three stores before and never had a problem.
It looks like zipzoomfly has the best price, you may want to get it their to save about $10

Oh, I just noticed lagoom doesnt have any in stock.
