Hey I am working on a triple monitor setup for my work area at home... and for gaming! :D

I have a Sager NP8150 with a 6990m and I am trying to decide which cables I need to hook this laptop up to the three monitors. I purchased two Eclipse SEE2UV150 adapters and it shows my desktop across these displays. One of the monitors is attached directly to my DVI and that monitor is running perfectly. However, the other two monitors are attached via these cables which is connected through my computers USB. These two monitors are running super slow and is even laggy when I drag a web browsing tab across it. This will never work for gaming. Anyway, it doesn't even allow me to group the monitors together under eyefinity.

I decided to go with a Matrox TripleHead2Go as my triple monitor adapter. However, I am really not too good with this stuff so I don't know if thats exactly what i need.

Anyway that's my story and I am wondering a few things.

Is the Matrox Triplehead2Go good for my Sager NP8150 to be connected to three monitors for a 5670x1080p gaming experience. If yes, then which of the versions do I need?

    TripleHead2Go Connectivity Requirements

What additional cables do I need to ensure this runs and runs smoothly?

My monitors do not have a HDMI output.

Thank you again in advance for any help!

USB 2 has nowhere near the data transfer rate you'd need to run a display off of for anything besides basic office work. You would have to connect all your monitors to the laptop itself if you want to even attempt doing that.

How many video outputs do you have on your laptop anyway? Most I'm guessing is 2.

you'd need 1 dvi cable from your laptop to the matrox, 3 dvi cables from the matrox to your monitors (1 for each and should've came with the monitor when you bought it)

dvi on both sides would give you a max 5040x1050
while hdmi - dvi would give you 2400x600

So if its running off of all DVI cables then I would need this according to the link I posted:

    TripleHead2Go Digital Edition
    Max Res: 4080x768
    (3x1360x768)
    Max Res: 5040x1050
    (3x1680x1050) *9

I could be wrong, like I said, Im not very good with this stuff hehe!
Here are all the ports on my equipment if it helps.

    1 x DVI Output Port
    1 x HDMI
    1 x E-SATA Port (USB Combo)
    2 x USB 2.0 Ports
    2 x USB 3.0 Ports
    1 x RJ45 LAN (10/100/1000Mbps)
    1 x 1EEE-1394b Fire Wire
    1 x S/PDIF Output Jack
    1 x Headphone Jack
    1 x Microphone
    1 x Line-In Jack

That is everything on my computer. My computer also came with a little thingy that converts the DVI output to a VGA output if i need.

    My monitors have: (each)

    1 x DVI Port
    1 x VGA Port
