    Hi everyone,
I have a Compaq Evo N600c laptop. It has a built in cd/dvd drive. When I first got it, I noticed that I was unable to burn any CD's (no drive detected.) I have since tried to install Toast, CD burner XP, etc. All of these failed to dtect the drive that is installed. I can play CD's with no problem, but I would like to be able to make data and audio CD's.
    Any suggestions?

    因为你的光驱不是combo的,不能刻录,换光驱吧
because you cd-rom is not a combo which means you can write the data on the disk so you must change your cd-rom to a cd -rw
