I seem to have a problem with Turboboost after I changed the intelppm value to 4 in Windows registry.

I have the following errror and my CPU stays constantly at 1.7GHz according to CPU-Z

Do you have Aero enabled? Seems like your laptop is running in powersaver mod for me... :D

Do you mean the JJB SSD tweak or something other? Can you direct me to that thread (Ididn;t find anything on google about the i-core SSD fix)

Yes I do, but it was in power saver so it disabled it.

But 1.7GHz is not low. I've seen it go to as low as 900MHz before tweaking.

if you did stanimax's tweak changing ppm , you will have turned turbo boost off... the driver get's disabled so your choice... but yah it should downclock... i would turn it back on... not worth it... try JJB's tweak.. its simple but longer and turbo boost and downclocking works for sure.
