    I'm thinking of getting either an XPS M1710 or Inspiron e1705 i want the tv tuner but is there a tv tuner card i could buy and put in one of the slots located on these systems (sorry not computer savvy ;) ) if not is there a smaller cheaper tv tuner i could use with these systems

    you don't necessarily have to have an internal TV tuner. You can buy an external TV tuner that simply plugs in via a USB port on the side of your laptop.

    The ATI TV Wonder is a good device.

    Buying an external TV tuner is a lot easier, simpler and maybe cheaper than buying an internal Mini PCI card.
