Hi, I just brought a new intel 3945 wlan card for my Vostro 1500, since my broadcom had horeable range. I was wondering though if there was any why I could use both? I know this laptop has three slots for mini pci express, but only one is labeld for wlan, the others are for a WWAN and a WPAN.

Does any one know if I can?

I think it is possible, maybe b/c i think the WWAN maybe reserved for Wireless Broadband

but probably the best thing is to just try it when you get it to see

running two network cards is not a problem. however, if you think you're going to download at 2x the speed, you're going to be sorely disappointed.

EDIT: forgot to address specific question, whether you can put both in the same computer i do not know... i assume if there are antennae leads/plugs and it fits in the slot, it should work.

I believe you can put a wlan card in the slot for intel turbo memory, which means that you can have 2 wlan cards, but in that case you can not have intel turbo memory...

You can have two wireless cards. You could have three wireless cards. You could have MANY wireless cards (internal, PCI, USB, etc). The effect would be similar to using a wired connection and a wireless connection active at the same time: unless your computer has some sort of load balancing software, you will only be able to actively use one connection at a time.

What about 2 Wireless cards, each connected to a different wireless point with it's own ISP, downloading two different links? :D
