    My wife's ASUS has worked fine. Tonight she was using it and suddenly it died. Just bought a new power supply recently. Any ideas?
    My Dell has not been turned on for a couple of months. I have the power supply plugged in for a few hours. Still won't power up. Any thoughts?

    You should try;

    - Testing your AC adapters with a multi-meter
    - Use a known good AC adapter to see if it will power on
    - Remove the battery and see if it will power on
    - Remove the AC adapter + battery, hold down the power button for 30 seconds 2-3 times, see if it powers on

    If it still doesn't power on after all of that, your motherboard likely has power circuitry related issues, requiring a new motherboard or board level repair.
