I just got a tx2, can i buy a pen with eraser for it???
-
-
What is a Tx2 ? I have a feeling its an HP laptop... but how should I know?
-
yes the hp touchsmart tx2-1375dx
-
From looking at this...

(via this: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=4041817&)
If its a digitzer - which I saw mentioned on a Lenovo - possibly yes. But it doesn't mention it - I find it odd that it wouldn't be inlcuded. Check HP accessories if they offer that option maybe? -
-
Odd, I thought the Tx2 came with a pen with an eraser.

how do you erase with that pen??? i dont have an eraser on the top.. like this one http://www.shopping.hp.com/store/pr...umpid=in_r329_personalization/browse2/PDP_PDP which doesnt work witrh the tx2
-
I lied. It looks like the same pen, but it isn't. Gotta get the eraser pen.
-
So they ship the new tablets without an eraser pen now?? What an insult as my previous model came with it and it was pretty cheap.
-
The pens don't have the eraser on the top like the old tablets. The old tablets were cheaper to make also.
Edit:
My memory is failing me. I could of sworn there was an eraser on the top of the tx2 pens.... -
can i actually buy one with an eraser???
-
yeah, the one listed earlier.

few people mentioned that pen only works with the Pavilion tx2000 not with the touchsmart tx2
even in the reviews off that pen someone mentioned:
The HP tx2000z and tx2z are very different computers. This pen, for the tx2000z, is incompatible with the tx2z. Make sure you don't get the wrong pen! -
I've heard otherwise, but <s>it could be true</s> I think you are right. The Tx2 uses an NTrig, while the tx2000s use a Wacom.
-
so no eraser for my system?
-
Not on the top of the pen. You can use the scratch out gesture.
Or another Ntrig stylus, like the Dell XT. -
and when im using one note, after i wrote something and i want to change it how i do that without using the undo feature?? also can you link the dell xt pen with eraser?
-
i dont think that works in one note
-
Sure does.
At least using the default settings, you can scratch out inkings. I haven't tried scratching out type. -
like when i do this:

how can i deleted something i wrote at the beginning? -
Use the ink tool.
And then make the gesture like so. But make a few scratches than I did. Obviously, if I made more scratches in my screen, there would be nothing to capture.Attached Files:

no go...

Oh.
OneNote only supports the Z scratch out gesture. Make one big Z over the test. -
-
Ugh.. Zig zag like three times.
I should of never posted that screen shot. That is an example of how NOT to do it. -
got it
thanks, by the way my mouse has a litle button in the midle whats thatfor?
-
No idea on your laptop. The HP and Lenovo both have the button and are configurable through the drivers.
The XT2 has two buttons. One can erase, the other is configurable.
I have all of them to middle click. -
i guess i can only use it for right click ;(
-
I felt the new tablet and it felt exactly the same as the tx2510us I have, just a different color thats all.
-
Well, the digitizer and tablet are now one piece and it is multitouch capable.
-
No little N Trig applet in the system tray??
-
i have it but the only optio it gives me is use the pen button as right click
Tx2 eraser
