    UPS is closing its service during thanksgiving day?

    I placed a order and chose *UPS Guaranteed 3 Day Service* for a hard drive from newegg.com on this Mon (11/24), and I find the package already arrived to my city at 1:30am this morning Tue (11/27) when looking at the UPS Tracking info. however, the Estimated delivery date is 12/01/2008.

    Whether UPS is closing its service during the period of Thanksgiving day?

    same thing is happening to me
    I have a couple items already arrived at my city for 2 days, but the estimated ship day is 12/1/2008 :(
    I picked 3 day shipping also

    Wow that sucks.. I should've picked Fedex or USPS, since they will be opened tomorrow.. now I won't get the stuff till Monday even though they got here for days already..

    Nope only today is a holiday.
    Most people have to work tomorrow
    I'm working a 10 hours shift tomorrow at a nationwide retailer

    UPS will delivery air and next day packages on Friday. FedEx will be open because they also do Saturday deliveries.
