    USB 2.0 Fast Enough For Blu Ray Burning?

    Question in the title. I am considering putting my laptops Blu ray burn drive in one of those external enclosures so I can free up the bay for an internal hard drive. I rarely use optical media so I would rather have a hard drive in it for backup and extra storage.

    Yes it is. I have an external blu-ray burner and it works just fine over USB 2.0. :)
