I got a USB 3.0 card recently to get some extra usb ports.
It seems its working fine for some things, but not others.
It works well for generic storage devices, but it didnt want to work with my DAC, my Joystick, and today it didnt even work for my camera (wich I thought worked as a mass storage device)
Any idea if its the cards fault, or is it simply usb 3.0 spec? All my reading leads to say 3.0 is fully backwards compatible with 2.0.

Reinstall drivers? Do you have additional devices connected to the 3.0 card as well as plugging in 2.0 stuff?

Fixed it with new usb 3.0 host drivers.
It came with a drivers disk that used NEC drivers, but on the site when I went to download the driver it has Renesas host drivers.
Using these it seems to be working fine again though I have not tested it with "advanced" stuff like my joystick or DAC yet just mass storage. -
