Okay, my USB Flash Drive isn't working anymore. It opens in My Computer but when I click the Removable Disk Drive, it opens, but the Autoplay window also opens, so i click on open folder to view files...and then the Disk Drive Window closes but the autoplay window opens again. This goes on for about 2-3 times, and then it stops.
So I tried to reformat it by right-click->format, but then when it is about to be reformatted, it says "Windows did not complete reformatting G:" or something to that effect.
I know this has got to be because I didn't use the Safely remove Hardware, and the orange light at the side is always on when plugged, even after I try to "Safely Remove hardware".

Can I still save my USB flash drive? Counting on you guys.
It is a VGI 1Gb mobile disk.
Using Windows Vista and another computer using Windows XP.

Well, I'm not sure what's wrong with the drive, but I'm gonna say that I've never used "Safely Remove Hardware" and I've never had a problem with any of my USB drives. That goes for flash drives and mechanical drives.

I'd say if you downright can't format the drive it could be physically broken. But try formatting it elsewhere just for good measure.
