I'm trying to flash my ACER bios to bring it back to life.

I've got a USB Floppy drive and several versions of PHLASH16 and tried several so far with no joy.

    Questions
    1) Should the floppy come to life with its LED lit, no matter if correct or incorrect PHLASH is on the floppy, as if its being read.

    2) How long should I wait to give the BIOS recovery a chance to start once the correct version of PHLASH is found. Straight away, 2 mins, 5 mins or longer.

    Thanks
