    Does some kind of USB-based (or ExpressCard-based) HDMI-in card exist? Basically, I'm starting university soon and I'll be gone for 5 years. I was going to leave all my game consoles at home... except laptop, DS and PSP. But if I could somehow use the laptop as a screen, I'd consider taking my PS3.

    Is it possible?

    You can get a tv cardbus for your express slot. Dunno if it'll take hdmi though

    i believe USB 2.0 tv tuners have too much lag, i think because of USB 2.0 bandwidth limitations, i got a expresscard tv tuner (Avermedia) and although it can receive HDTV OTA, it can only receive s-video or composite from another source (just enough for ps2/xbox1) but there is a SLIGHT lag...
