This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     USB Infrared Reciever for HP Capshare

    I will be picking up a thinkpad z61m and looking for a USB Infrared reciever to use with an old HP CapShare hand scanner I have. The capshare is this great device for scanning deeds and maps, but hasnt been made in ages.

    I have seen infrared ports around, but wondering if anyone has used a generic infrared port with the hp capshare and a notebook.
