    USB Passthru Connector?

    Anyone know where I can find a cheap USB Passthru connector like this one:

    This one is from my laptop cooler. Basically it allows you to plug something else into the machine so it doesn't consume the USB port. I want to splice something into the cable leading to this for power, but don't want it eating up a USB port just for that.

    Is there a specific reason not to use a USB Hub and have a bunch of extra USB ports to boot?

    Because it's on a laptop and don't want another add-on device that I have to carry with me to hook up.

    Thanks! +1. Perhaps I can find a cheap notebook cooler and just use that connector. I'm sure there's got to be other cheap devices that use something like this.
