I've got a Dell Latitude D820 that didn't come with a built-in tuner....can anyone tell me of some good USB tuners that are compatible with Windows Vista?

Hauppage WinTV Nova T Usb 2 is awsome.

For compatibility make sure the tuner uses drivers that are BDA compatible so that windows can use the hardware. Otherwise you will be stuck to the software that comes with the tuner which is usually c*ap.

Look online for a list of BDA compatible tuners here. Ive linked to a program I use, its like MCE for XP and its awsome!

I'll wholeheartedly second that, I bought one of these in the January sales and it's extremely simple to set up and use. very good experience so far!

I like the recommendations above. Hauppauge does make some good USB TV tuners.

Cool...thanks. BTW.....does it have the capability of recording live streams? I subscribe to mlb.tv, and want to record some of the games.

Why not just watch internet broadcasts?

You get most channels now on streaming tv.

I'd go with that or HD tv tuner.
