I recently bought the lenovo y500. I've been looking for a second graphics card for the ultrabay but can't find the nividia 750m version and I heard that it has to be the same graphic card in the computer as in the ultrabay

Availability for the 750M Ultrabay has never existed. Ask this in the Lenovo IdeaPad subforum and I'm sure many, many disgruntled owners (and ex-owners) will chime in.

Some user in the lenovo forum tested the y510 GT750m ultrabay in the the y500 and it was working so hopefully when the y510 GT750m is released for purchase separately we will be able to grab one as I just purchased a single video card GT750m y500 yesterday :)
