I have an old inspiron 5160 and read the guide on how to use the rightmark utility.

I'm trying to force my processor to run at a certain speed, but it keeps going back and forth between low power, the speed I select, and max speed.

14 multi is lowest, 23 is the highest. On maximal performance tab, I select the 19 multi and it works for about 10 seconds. But then it jump back and forth to 14 and 23 and then settles back to 19 for a while and then jumps back.

Does it not work with the old pentium 4 processors?
