Is it possible to underclock my AMD 64 3200+ in my HP zv6000? If so, how do I do it and would it give me better battery life?

Search for "undervolting Turion" it should give you a rough idea of wht to do. On some laptops it's possible, withink limits of course.

With power settings your laptop should auto cycle down to lke 800MHz to save battery power. To actually save battery power at max speed you need to undervolt it, and there are other settings.

    http://www.laptoplogic.com/resources/detail.php?id=13 - have a look at that.
