I'm just getting the hang of undervolting but got a few questions about my Duo Core.

I've been able to get my max performance voltage down from 1.262 to 1.100 and thats all great and fine, but its the multiplier thats got me a little mixed up.
The multiplier changes the processer speed depending on the load which my old AMD64 did, but from what i can tell the DuoCore doesnt do that it always seems to read as both cores being at 1ghz.
Well if thats so, whats the point of the multiplier? By default my cpus at 6x standard and 12x max, but if it doesnt actually change the processer speed whys it needed, or in my newbieness am i missing something?

The min multiplier corresponds to 1GHz. The core duos stay at that until more processing power is needed to save power and reduce heat. Try doing what I suggested here to see the core clocking up and down.

Ok thanks for the great idea, never thought of that.

But when i've got prime95 running twice and my cpu load is at 100%, its still only reading as 1ghz. Also when its at 100% the voltage goes up too the voltage ive set for 12x but the multiplier stays at 6x, guessing ive got some setting somewhere wrong in NHC, any ideas?

    OK solved it.
NHC just isnt displaying right, got myself RMClock and its showing 12x at 2ghz.
    Yay.
