I have downloaded NHC and installed it. Only I can't set any voltages, and no voltages show up in the voltage section....

Also, I couldn't find any info on undervolted T7300's

    help?

If you want to undervolt and I want to ask why? RightMark CPU undervolts!

Just a heads up, you won't be able to change the lowest VID since Intel locked it. Still nice for undervolting for the sake of running cooler on load.

Well, doesn't undervolting just decrease the amount of power usage, while still keeping the same speed? I'm not sure if there are any dangers or anything about it. Hopefully someone can comment.

About your UV application, I would say RightMark. Even though I've never undervolted.

It can serve multiple functions. One of them is in fact what you mentioned, running at full speed at a lesser voltage to decrease heat dispersion. Another way is to undervolt and underclock to save battery. For example when I am on battery and I am doing fairly simple tasks, I downclock my processor to .80ghz from 1.6ghz and I save some battery life. When I'm plugged in, I run the 1.6 and undervolt from 1.15 down to 1.00volts.

Is there any way to make it automated under/overclocking, so that when it senses that you're plugged in it goes up to full clock, and when you're on battery it goes half?

Yep. There are settings for each mode on the Profiles tab. You can select the profile to run in AC power vs Battery power and it detects thru power management which you are on and it changes automatically.

i think the windows and Intel Speed step will auto lower the voltage

    Hi,

I have a Fujitsu Esprimo U9200 Mobile laptop and after installing NHC i found the same problem. There is no voltage to adjust. I did however manage to find another free program that is able to change the voltage of this chip. It's called CrystalCPUID and it also allows you to create shortcuts that change the voltage and multiplier of the chip. I am running my T7300 right now at 1.075v at 2GHz and its running fine. I've also reduced the load temperature from 78C to 62C :) You can download the program from

    http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalCPUID/index-e.html

Oh if you're running Vista, make sure you turn off power management by going to your power plan and changing the advanced settings so that the min and max processor states are both 100% under processor power management otherwise the chip will just use speedstep and change the voltages itself

    Hope this helps!
