Ok here's the deal.
My friend has an acer aspire 4937 with a core 2 duo T9550 (2.66GHz) and a geforce G150M (think its similar to the 9300) which is overheating big time.
Since she dosent play games or run very processor intensive applications (basic office work, web browsing, facebook games) i was thinking of underclocking and undervolting the system.
However i've never done this before. Would be much appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction- what tools i should use, what settings to apply, etc. The settings dont have to be super aggressive as the system has to be stable, so instead of squeezing every last .001 of a volt i rather have a bit of margin that someone has had experience with being as stable as stock settings.
Cheers
