Hey guys, Flipfire made a nice guide however i have some issues.
I have lowered the highest multiplier for my laptop (12x) which is defaulted at 1.2500volts and i lowered it to a lower number.
I did some testing and after roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes, i got about 81C with voltage of 1.1000.
That doesnt make sense since my starting max temp was 77C for 10 minutes on ORTHOS for the 1.2500 volts.
Am i doing something wrong? My temps went up by like 5C when i undervolted...not normal
If you guys need screenshots of any kind, just tell me and ill post them
Btw, i didnt restart my computer between volt changes

Check to see if your CPU is detected properly. Sounds like it`s not.
You don`t need restarts between voltage changes, just make sure your CPU is detected and that you`re using the PERFORMANCE ON DEMAND profile. -
How do i check if its detected?
-
Well, you have a Core Duo Cpu, a T2 something? That`s a Yonah.
If it`s core 2 Duo, it`s a Merom.
Check under the CPU INFO settings if the CPU CORE corresponds to your real one.
What CPU do you have? -
Well if you tested it 5 minutes before, your heatsink is already hot from the last orthos scan, so when another load is placed on the heatsink, the heatsink is already say 40C hotter than it was before the first scan, for the start of the second scan. Their is no problem here. Take the second set of temperatures after the system has cooled off, that way you get fair results.

CPu Model: Genuine Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo--> 2.4 Ghz T7700
CPU core: Morem
EDIT: in 10 minutes with volts to 1.150, i got 5C less than the 77C i had with default voltage(1.250) in 10 minutes...is this good? I ran my undervolted laptop with Orthos for 10 min and got 72C -
Every CPU had different effect when undervolting, for some much less heat for other not so much..

The 10 min initial test you did, the temp is most likely not the real highest temp of that voltage. Try like 30 min of 1.2500V and you will see, it should be higher than 1.1000V.

WoW i think my GPU and my CPU are both cooler by 5C comparing results from the last test! WOOT!!

It's what to be expected from Undervolting. Glad it works now..
