My laptop, a Toshiba Tecra A5 S6215TD is constantly blinking and sometimes it turns black and the picture disappears. It has been doing this since yesterday. What might the problem be with this laptop? How can I fix it ?

Have you reinstalled your video card drivers? What OS are you running? Does it do it in safe mode?

I recently converted it from Win 7 back to XP SP3, and I had to reinstall all drivers and the OS itself. I have not tried in safe mode. may be I should try it and give you feedback.
