In Windows XP, I have deleted a partitioned, now in disk management is says unpartitioned. So when I reformat, it still has this unpartitioned space. How can I wipe the drive of this space so I can use it?
thanks

Might want to try gparted.

thank you for the post. I figured it out. When formatting using the windows disk, I just deleted ALL partitions (including C:/), then created a new one with all disk space.
