    It appears dell has set the TDP higher on this model (or mine)
    It will turbo single core to 4ghz no problem
    When all cores loaded it will do 3.8ghz for a few seconds then slowly goes down to 2.6ghz sustained under full cpu load showing a package power of 17W.

    These new chips certainly make the whole ultrabook + eGPU(+external monitor) a lot more compelling for those interested in such a setup.

    I have been looking at getting a new platform with an i7-7600U on and off for the last few weeks (hard to not hit the 'buy' button... especially on the 'sale' days...) for my less compute heavy needs...

    But these new processors seem to be worth the wait and the premium. Thanks for keeping us updated. :)

    I created a separate thread with some initial impressions, all I can say is don't get a i7 7600u, these new cpu's are better in every way.
