I plan to update my SSD's firmware due to random system freezes and occasional blue screens. This has been going on for a while, but I'm finally getting around to doing the update.

    It's a OCZ Vertex 3 256Gb with firmware version 2.08

This is my plan, am I missing any steps / precautions?

    1. Download and burn latest bootable firmware revision .iso (ver. 2.25)
    2. Boot Clonezilla live cd and create a full image of the SSD (drive c: )
    3. Boot the firmware .iso and let it do the update.
    4. Done. Boot back into windows 7 (hopefully).

My concern is that I'm creating the SSD image correctly in case something goes wrong. I don't want to have to reinstall the OS.
I've used Clonezilla before and am pretty comfortable with it.
    Am I missing anything?
