I am going to be purchasing a Clevo D900K, from RJTech.com soon. I believe it comes with standard internal crappy sound. Is there a card for laptops to imporve sound, i dont mind if it sticks out a bit out fo the laptop, as long as i can find a large array of selections :).

There are various USB and PC Card solutions. The 900k has both, so it would be up to you. The PC card will stick out a little bit from the side, but it might be better than the USB card. Just my .02 cents

Creative has somel PCMCIA and USB sound cards available. Turtle Beach also makes USB sound cards. So does M-Audio.
