I plan on buying a T400 but buy the RAM and hard-drive separately. Would these work?

I don't plan on doing a full upgrade to 64 bit yet, but i probably will in the near future. It's ok if i dont get the full 4 gig potential as long as the sticks work.

Will these products fit? I would save $110-120 if i buy and upgrade these separately.

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
They will both work. You can use any laptop DDR3 memory and any SATA hard drive.
