    Hey guys,

I have a 15" ASUS Zenbook (UX51VZ) that i want to upgrade to wireless AC.

It currently has a Intel Centrino Advanced 6235:

I want to upgrade to a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260:

From everything i have read, these cards should be exchangeable and a device that uses one should be able to handle the other.

However I have found out that the connections points between the antennae cables and the mini-pci card are smaller on the card that is currently installed.

Would this have been something that ASUS did themselves? or a special batch that Intel made?

Is it possible to solder that cable in position or replace the connection tips?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated

I know its possible to get an external usb that does AC but this is a much more elegant solution and im hoping its not too difficult...
