    Upgrade Alienware 14 Nvidia 750GT to Nvidia 765GTX, is it possible ?

    I have a spare nvidia 765M GTX 2GB, which I got for an Alienware 17, but ended up not using it. So my question is, can I use it in a Alienware 14 ? The 14 came with the Nvidia 750GT, but since Alienware also sells this model with the GTX card, is it possible to upgrade it with out needing more than thermal paste and time ?

    Alienware 14 has a soldered GPU. Only chance to swap to a more powerful one is to swap the whole motherboard.

    I upgraded the GT 750M in my AW 14 to a GTX 765M by swapping the motherboard.

    Yup that's the problem with the 14. Whole motherboard upgrade or no upgrade :D
