Нello.I can upgrade the intel celeron t3000 chipset gl40?
Processor Soldered to the motherboard?![]()
Building micro-FCBGA consists of a crystal, located face down on an organic substrate, perpetuate filled epoxy material, and several capacitors, which are absent in micro-PGA. Since it connects to a motherboard 479 contacts are soldered to appropriate sites, so it is virtually impossible to upgrade.Sorry for bad English
Really so bad?

From what I can see the T3000 shuld be socket P. I'd run cpu-z and check your cpu number and check it against here:

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
Yeah, what laptop do you have? Most laptops with standard TDP Celerons shouldn't be thin/styled enough to necessitate a BGA processor.

It is socket P so you may be able to swap the gpu. I'm not sure what other cpus the GL40 chipset can take, if I am honest!

Officially GL40 is only supposed to take Celerons, and possibly Pentium Dual-Cores, but there have been people who have succeeded in running C2Ds of varying FSB speeds with their GL40s. Anything above a Celeron or Pentium Dual-Core is nonetheless going to be a crapshot to some degree.

Why do you want to upgrade the CPU?
CPUs to look for are the Pentium Dual-Core T3400/T4300. -

Glad it worked for you!
The GL40 technically supports any processor with a 800mhz FSB, so if you're going Core 2 (as I see you already have...), you can go to T9500 I believe... and that should work granted you've updated your bios. Both have a TDP of 35 watts and I'd wager that the more powerful T9500 will most likely give you better battery life.
