I would like to upgrade my NEC Versa P9110 CPU.
    It currently has T5250 1.5Ghz, 2GB
I would like to Upgrade to T7700 2.4Ghz & 4 GB. Is this possible.
Would a T7500 be more suiteable? Thanks

T7250 and T7700 should work.. but i would recommend T8100 , 8300 or T9300 might also work but i would recommend T8100 at least... can u post screenshots of CPU-Z showing ur chipset.. if u have PM965 or GM965 , T8100 should work and 4GB RAM should work.

I read somewhere on the net that I should check to see what CPU's came out in the model of lappy that I have & I would be able to upgrade to the highest CPU listed. I was able to find this: http://www.quikshop.com.au/pdf/NEC VERSA P9110.pdf

I dont mean to question you but I need to make sure which one will work the best as I am going to go out & buy this CPU. Is it possible that higher than T7700 will work?

I have attached the screen shots from CPU-Z.

Will this CPU be suitable? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-Intel-SL...ViewItem&pt=AU_Components&hash=item4cefb3958b

    Appreciate the help.

well i see ur point but usually after a few BIOS updates and all better CPU's can be taken.. T7700 should work and i see no reason with Pm965 chipset T8100 and T8300 , T9300 shouldn't work...

anyways , ur looking at T8100 and not T7700.. i would try this first.. it looks allright and not engineering sample but i would wait for other opinions .. i'm not very experienced when it comes to the buying part.. but looks like proper one..
