I just got fnished upgrading my dell xps m1710 laptop's graphics card to the go 7950 gtx, I had a go 7900gs in there previously, when I booted up for the first time I noticed my laptop's led's were red and not greed so when I went to change them I noticed the panel led's were orange on the back of the display, yet in the bios they were saying they were the color "Ruby" which they were not so I tried changing them and every color works except for the top 3 colors and when I hover the option over the top 3 color choiced including the option to turn them off it stays orange and does not change until I hit any color that's not red or orange :/

im going to take my computer to get looked at tomorrow by computer renaissance, and a screw wont come out now :( I feel like I wasted my money please help guys !

So do you have pictures of it and did it do this before and did you make sure all the cables where seated in back correctly and no bent pins? I have the same computer as you did and upgraded the GPU and didn't experience the color mismatch as you did? You might want to go back and check to see if your cable and wire connections were properly connected and no bent pins. Whenever you take apart a laptop one must take time and be cautious on how they do it.
