Wondering if I could upgrade from T8100 to T9900 in my LG P300 and also would like to know if I could overclock my T8100 and if so how. It is undervolted and temps are fine. Thinking about selling desktop and getting T9900 and the ViDock4

    Thanks

You can't upgrade since you motherboard doesn't support any CPUs with 1066MHz FSB. The best you can hope for is T9500. Do you often hit 100% load (and stay there)? If not then you won't notice a difference since it's not your CPU limiting you.

Yes I often hit 100% load while playing games, and yes it stays there. Is overclocking a bad idea? Will look into T9500

Which games? If your notebook uses the 8600M GT, then even with a faster CPU, most games will be GPU bound and not gain significant FPS.
