    Hi guys,

Questions on upgrading my Asus G50VT-X5...

(and before anyone tells me just to buy a new one, it IS new, bought in April, and I'm happy with it, I just like upgrading, it's my style rather than buying a new one... Very happy with it, just like increasing it)

As I previously posted, I've had the Intel Duo Core T9600 in for like 36 hours (I have the Best Buy version , so I had the P7450) and I love it, for me, it's quite an upgrade.

I want to know what else I can upgrade?

    Specifically,

I was told on the Asus G50VT-X5 forum that I am already maxed on RAM, can't upgrade.

HDD, if I need one I will, maybe even just buy an external, but even if I get a new internal, will cross that bridge when I get to it.

But two things I'd like to know specifically, video card and wireless card?

I have the nvidia GeForce 9800m GS ... Can I put a newer/better/nvidia in in, i.e., can I upgrade the video card? If so what can I get/what should I get?

Also the wireless card? I have an Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN. Have had some trouble with it... Is there a better card/upgrade I can get?

Also is there anything I am missing I can upgrade/should upgrade/etc.? Thanks... I appreciate everyone's expertise here, and suggestions/help etc.

    -Dan

The Asus owner's lounge would probably work better for this type of question.

HDD: SSD w/ Intel, Samsung, or Indilinx controller
GPU: don't think you can upgrade
    WiFi: Intel 5300
