I am thinking about buying an Acer Aspire 3022 Laptop which comes with a 64mb ATi Mobility Radeon X600 graphics card.
What I was wondering was would it be possible to upgrade the graphics card after buying the laptop?
Thanks

Nope, no laptops can be upgraded by users as of yet.
Well, it IS possible, but not for alot of laptops, as they are usually soldered onto the motherboard. With MXM and modular GPU's coming out, it won't be too long, but it will only be possible for those. -
Yeah, not worth the hassle. I think Acer offers 128MB version with the 3022. So, it might be possibe to upgrade to that but that depends on whether the graphics card is soldered on to the motherboard, if so then it will most possible to replace the whole MB with the 128MB X600. This is a very costly affair, so not really recommended.

Thanks for the help.
I might go with the 3023 laptop as this comes with the 128mb X600 card already installed. -
Depending on what price range and what kind of laptop your looking for, the HP zd8000 comes with a 256 mb x600. But again, this is a desktop replacement laptop, not sure what your exactly looking for.
