    Hey guys im a die hard gamer.Till last month i had my PC with me and upgraded to latest hardwares always so i can play all the games.now i had to shift to my workplace.so thought of buying a Dell XPS laptop.the problem is the G-Card is 8600 and wil play all the latest games.but if i want to play future games,is it possible to get the graphics card replaced if needed?please reply..i want to get this reply before taking the laptop

    Then you should consider the Dell XPS M1730 instead, with the geforce 8800M GTX. Or even a Sager.

    Simple answer: No. You can't replace the "G-card" in the XPS. For that matter, you can't replace 'only' the graphics cards in 99% of all notebooks sold, if at all.

    As these guys have said. This is not like a desktop. Yes on some DeLL's there is some upgradeability. But normally they had to of offered the card you want to go to on the model you have, as it must physically fit. Second DeLL uses a proprietary connection so you can only use a card made for a DeLL, not a big resale market. I recommend you go to XoticPC as they offer great computers and can answer your questions in a honest fair way. You may just find exactly what you are looking for. Good luck
