    Hi.

I want to upgrade the wifi card to 2 notebooks I have

acer aspire 3650 an 4720z. The 2 computers have mini pci express card slot.

What card do you recommend me to do the upgrade. I need with wifi n and dual band.

The wifi + bluetooth combo cards, is a good option?

If you have bluetooth already, i'd go with Intel 6200 or 6205 cards. Note that those are half-height adapter.

Not sure you can upgrade past 3945 on the Acer 3650. I have a 5630 which I think is pretty much the same. The Wifi radio refuses to switch on with a 5100.

Don't think the 6205 or 6200 are bluetooth cards. For something cheap go with the 1030. Otherwise I believe the 1203 is bluetooth.

    Thanks for the answers.

The only question is this notebooks has a whitelist for the wifi cards.

The 4720z in the service manual has the intel 4935agn that fits my requerimets.
Anyone with experiencies with this card?

He didn't say they were, he said to get them if he already had Bluetooth (and hence didn't need a combo card).

If you can get em for cheap, +1 for the 62xx series. If he's wanting an actual "upgrade" there's no point going to the 1000 series.
