    Hi all,

I'm thinking of ordering a custom computer and was wondering if the upgrade options are worthwhile...

2G vs 4G RAM now or buying it 3rd party and wait till i need it later?, when it may be cheaper?

bigger HD not with 5400rpm or faster with smaller capacity? i figure now the ext HD are dropping and their capacity it getting bigger its actually better to get a faster HD with less capacity since i only use MS Office and virus protection and etc.

any suggestions? also same question with software better pre-installed? save the hassle of system conflicts?

    thanks.

I'd definitely wait on 4gb of RAM, it will be much much cheaper in the near future (and I seriously doubt you need that much now.) As for hard drives, if you like fast loading times then definitely get 7200RPM. If you also need space then purchase a 160gb 7200RPM hard drive after market. Seagate makes one (a Momentus) that can be had for about $200.
