I have an ASUS F3JP and it has a WXGA screen. I want to change it out with a WSXGA screen. I know that some of the models on the F3J series comes with a WSXGA screen. Im wondering if I get one of those screens can I just swap it out? Is there other parts involved? I know that the screen needs the inverter, i'm assuming that I can use the existing one in the machine. Also is there any other parts that tell my video card (x1700) what resolution to push out besides the screen itself?

    Thanks in advance.

I really don't think you can't upgrade your scree. It's involve lots of change inside the laptop as well, not just the screen.
