Should I spend $75 for an upgrade from T7100 to T7300? I mean is the 4mb cache really worth it?

You dont have to. The T7100 is a quick CPU. The T7300 is nice to have. It depends what you want to do with your laptop. $75 is not the world and I think you should get it but if you are on a tight budget stick with the T7100 and use the money to get more ram. Ram is more important and more noticable.

Extra cache doesn't always mean better performance. If your not completing any processor dependant tasks on the ntoebook, then the T7300 will offer no increase in speed over the T7100. The upgrade cost isn't massive, but that money can be spen on other upgrades, such as a faster hard disk or more RAM, which would have a more noticible effect on system speed.

I'm probably going to use laptop a lot for gaming, movie watching, and a lot of photoshop. So would it be better to upgrade or is the T7100 enough?

*A little side note, I found a little coupon and it will only cost me about $25 to upgrade

Photoshop is a processor dependant rogram, and it will benefit from an increase in both cache and clockspeed. For $25, go for the upgrade. You'll get a faster processor, and for an upgrade price thats more than worth it.

Just a side note, the T7100 & T7300 both have a thermal package of 35Watts so one is not hotter than the other. Happy laptoping,,,
