    I have a R3000 with xga lcd but Im looking for a LCD WVA WSXGA+ for my Compaq R3000z, i dont know the model so does anyone have this and would be able to get me the model number. For example the model lcd i have currently is a LG/Phillip. what lcd can i get to fit my laptop that is wsxga? i dont need the part number from compaq just the actual product they use i.e. the manufactuer and the pn of that LCD. oh by the way will i need to change the inverter as well?

    Your problem is that they're probably multi-sourced and I bet they won't tell you where the panels come from. You should probably make some calls to see if you can get this info easily though.
