This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Can this laptop GPU be upgraded ?

    Alienware m9700i -R1 series

    Current GPU:
    nvidia 8700 GT (chip G84-750-A2)
    512 MB DDR2
    Type card: MXM II

    Are any upgrades possible for this old device ?
