Now I know that it has been made clear that you cant upgrade a notebook's video card. However, after looking at tigerdirect, they specifically say that you can upgrade from GMA 950 to a dedicated video card on the IBM T60.

"PCI Express x16 port available to upgrade to higher performance graphics card if required for extreme gaming."

Heres the link, its towards the middle under "Upgradeability."

Again the only reason why I am asking you guys about this is because tigerdirect specifically makes reference to it. I know for almost all notebooks you cant do it.

well it does have a small (1) near this claim.

And the more I look I cant seem to see this (1) footnote on that page.

    (1) must be extremely small print indeed. I think its going to say something like
"*(1) this claim is bogus and false but if you threaten to sue us well give you your money back in 6 months.

Im fairly certain the upgrade possible is a higher model. not an after purchase upgrade.

Yeah you can't upgrade that card. The chipset is also different if you have the GMA950 - it's a 945GM with integrated graphics, and a 945PM with external graphics.
